We appreciate that you are passionate enough about the beautiful game to want to pass on that passion on to the next generation of young soccer players. However, there are a few requirements that you have to meet beforehand.

CORI Form

Before you can step out onto the field and serve as a role model to our young players you must have a CORI form on file.NSC is affiliated with MA Youth Soccer who has centralized all CORI tracking and Adult Registrations. Each summer every adult who will be participating in the next season must have an active Risk Expiration Date that goes out beyond the end of the current season. (i.e. in September 2018, a coaches Risk Expiration Date must be after June of 2019 in order to be issued a valid coaching credential.

 Note: The adult name must be shown as the legal given name (no nicknames). This means your registration file must also have the legal given name shown for all adult/coach volunteers. DATE OF BIRTH IS MANDATORY FOR ALL AFFILIATES

U.S. SOCCER COACHING EDUCATION DEPARTMENT ANNOUNCES 
GRASSROOTS PATHWAY INITIATIVE

Eight New Grassroots Licensing Courses Will Focus on Coaching Fundamentals with Respect to
U.S. Soccer's Player Development Initiatives

CHICAGO (Dec. 20, 2017) - U.S. Soccer has announced eight (8) new grassroots level coaching courses to be introduced in early 2018. These courses will be focused empowering coaches through experiential learning and a player-centered approach. The course options will relate directly to small-sided games and the respective age-groups outlined in the Player Development Initiatives.

The new Grassroots Licensing Courses will consist of four (4) in-person experiences and four (4) online experiences. Prospective coaches will have the option to engage in any of these new courses - in any sequence - after completing a free introductory module provided by U.S. Soccer.
